At the Holiday Guide we limit our coverage and distribution to the three towns of Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuenfirola. This means that most of the information is relevant to anyone staying in the area. These three towns are are relatively close to each other and transport links between them, via busses, the train and taxis, are excellent.
Torremolinos was the location for the start of the tourist industry in Spain and, as a result, the area now known as Benalmadena Costa was created. Fuengirola was already a small fishing town but was very quick to jump on the tourism bandwagon. Between them these three areas account for the greatest influx of both Spanish and international tourists.
With very few exception most of the coastal tourist attractions are located in, or very close to, these towns and access, from them, to Malaga and the increasingly popular inland areas is excellent.
